The Cleveland Browns have made a flurry of quarterback moves in the last week, including benching Joe Flacco for rookie Dillon Gabriel and then shipping Flacco to the division rival Cincinnati Bengals.

The move comes as a bit of a surprise, as the Browns' quarterback room now features two rookies, Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders, as the top guys on the depth chart, while Bailey Zappe serves as the third-string quarterback.

But a recent report could indicate bad news for the rookies, as another veteran quarterback could be on his way back to the Browns.

Could Deshaun Watson suit up for the Browns this season?

Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer made an appearance on 92.3 The Fan and spoke about what the return of Deshaun Watson to practice could mean for the rest of the quarterbacks on the roster.

"If Deshaun gets back into the practice setting, I think there’s a pretty decent chance that it starts to show up that he could be the best option, let’s take Shedeur Sanders’ last name out of it. Who do the Browns have more invested in? Who do the Browns have a better chance of getting it right long term with? I figure still Deshaun Watson," Breer said.

Considering that Cleveland is currently paying Watson nearly $36 million this season, it's reasonable to assume that if he is able, he will be on the field when healthy.

To Breer's point, you have more invested in him than you do in both Gabriel and Sanders, so why not let him give it a go if the twice-torn Achilles is ready to roll?
