Stock up, stock down following the New York Jets' 37-22 loss to the Cowboys in Week 5

Here is Jets Wire's stock report following the team's 37-22 loss to the Cowboys in Week 5.

The embarrassing start to the New York Jets' 2025 season continued in Week 6.

Because of that, Aaron Glenn's start as the team's head coach has continued in the same fashion.

The Jets (0-5) lost another one, this time to the Dallas Cowboys (3-2-1) at home in a 37-22 final. Who played a part in another defeat?

Here is Jets Wire's stock report following the Jets' loss to the Cowboys:

Stock down: HC Aaron Glenn

Glenn's hit a new low in his quest for his first win as a head coach. The Jets become the first team in NFL history to go 0-5 and somehow manage to now have a single takeaway on defense during the spell.

As a previous defensive coordinator, that's a bad look for Glenn.

Stock up: TE Mason Taylor

The Jets have had a lot of game plans that have not gone according to plan this season. Recently the team expressed wanting to get their rookie tight end more involved and that has actually worked.

Taylor had a team-high nine catches for 67 yards. Pro Football Focus was named New York's best player on offense with a grade of 79.3.

Stock up: WR Garrett Wilson

New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson (5) completes a pass which he ran in for a touchdown, Sunday, October 5, 2025.

A lot of it happened in garbage time, but Wilson can only play the hand he is dealt in terms of balls coming his way. Once that happened late, Wilson ended up with six catches and a team-high 71 yards with a touchdown.

Stock down: Kiko Mauigoa

Mauigoa is the epitome of what was wrong with the Jets defense in Week 5 and for most of the season. Missed tackles? Two of them. On four coverage snaps, Mauigoa allowed three catches including one for a touchdown.

Stock down: DT Quinnen Williams

As the all-star player for the Jets on their defensive line, Williams was quiet against the Cowboys. He had one QB pressure against a completely banged up offensive line that Dallas sported.

Stock down: Jets' offensive line

Rookie Armand Membou had the worst day of all the Jets' offensive linemen according to the eye test. He allowed QB pressures and took multiple penalties. However, the other four starters on the O-line were among New York's five worst-graded players via PFF's grades for the Jets vs. the Cowboys.

The entire unit was bad.
