Here are storylines that will unfold this week ahead of the Jets facing the Broncos in Week 6.
The New York Jets are turning to the next page of their 2025 NFL season.
In Week 6, the Jets (0-4) will head overseas to face Denver Broncos (3-2).
There were a lot of changes that went down in New York this offseason. We're starting to see the results of those decisions and the outcome against the Broncos will reveal even more.
But before we even get to kickoff, there will be a lot of Jets-related discussions and conversations to be had throughout the coming days.
With that, here are five storylines to watch for ahead of the Jets' against the Broncos in Week 6:
London calling
The natural and obvious one: The Jets and Broncos will do battle out in London at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. That alone brings challenges to both teams with the time difference and travel required to make the contest happen for the NFL.
Whoever handles it better between the two sides will have an upper hand.
First win...
Until it happens, expect it to be a storyline: Aaron Glenn still does not have a win as an NFL head coach. Will he ever get it? Well, this week in particular will be difficult because...
Broncos gaining steam
The Broncos are gaining momentum in recent weeks, alongside their young quarterback Bo Nix.
After starting the 2025 season with a 1-2 record and with Nix barely surpassing 200 yards in their first three outings, both the player and team have done much better. Nix had 326 passing yards in a Week 4 win against the Bengals and then he helped rally his team from 14 points behind to hand the Philadelphia Eagles their first loss of the year.
Ground and pound
Regardless of Nix's successes, the ground game is going to loom large on offense for both teams.
The Broncos have the NFL's fourth-best rushing attack (140.6 avg) on offense in 2025. The Jets are right ahead of them in third (144.4 avg).
Anything from the defense (like a turnover)
Alongside Glenn being discussed until he finally wins a game.
Similarly, until the Jets defense can play decent, they'll be under a spotlight as well... namely until New York records a takeaway. The Jets are the only team in NFL history to start a year 0-5 and failed to record a turnover in those outings.
Ouch.
