September has come and gone, and we are a week into October already, meaning postseason play for some teams is just around the corner. Before we get to the postseason glory however, we here at The Daily Telegram feel it is important to finally get on the ball and recognize those student athletes who do not play football who have had amazing weeks on the field of play.

So, welcome to this week’s ModForce Home Solutions Athlete of the Week poll (Non-Football version). Admittedly so, we here at The Daily Telegram have not given the recognition that those competing in sports non-football related are due, and for that we sincerely apologize. The only thing we can say is that we will do better, and that I vow from here on out that everyone, regardless of school size, class, gender, or sport will be celebrated for their accomplishments.

If you have any questions regarding this subject, or if you just feel like bending an ear, please email sports editor Troy Tennyson at [email protected] and I promise to return your email.

So, enough chit chat, on with the honors. After careful evaluation of the past weeks efforts here are the nominees for this week’s ModForce Home Solutions Non-Football Athlete of the Week for Lenawee County.
