WWE continues to have former talents come to the Performance Center in guest coach roles.

The WWE Performance Center opened in Orlando back in 2013. Since then, the facility has been used to produce some of the company’s biggest stars. Allowing men and women to get their start in NXT before coming to the main roster.

While there is a permanent coaching staff in place, WWE makes a habit of bringing in guest coaches to help give the performers an outside perspective to help expand their knowledge in and out of the ring. A new report suggested a former WWE Cruiserweight Champion will be a guest coach at the Performance Center later this month.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE is looking to bring in former Cruiserweight Champion and current New Japan Pro-Wrestling talent TJP to the Performance Center to serve as a guest coach later this month.

TJP, also known as TJ Perkins, had a three-year run with WWE from 2016 to 2019. Following his WWE departure, he would return to New Japan, where he continues to perform to this day.

Who is the next big WWE Superstar to come out of the Performance Center?

While there are plenty of performers in NXT who are main roster-ready, one name seems to be mentioned more than the rest: former NXT Champion Oba Femi.

NXT commentator Booker T recently spoke about Femi on his Hall of Fame podcast and believes that Femi is ready to run with the big dogs on the main roster. You can check out his full comments by clicking here.
