There's a new name and a new golf course for the PGA Tour's annual visit to Japan.
The 2025 Baycurrent Classic, formerly the Zozo Championship, starts Thursday (Wednesday night for those of you in the U.S.) at Yokohama Country Club in Yokohama, Japan.
It's a limited field event with 78 players with no cut, and there are some big names in the field.

Where to watch, follow the 2025 Baycurrent Classic
There is no ESPN+ coverage this week of the Baycurrent Classic, nor is there coverage on Sirius XM PGA Tour Radio. The only way to follow along with the event is on Golf Channel, which has four hours of coverage each day.
The first-round live telecast starts at 11 p.m. ET on Wednesday and goes till 3 a.m. ET on Thursday.

Who's in the field at the 2025 Baycurrent Classic?
Defending champion Nico Echavarria, who beat Justin Thomas and Max Greyserman by a shot in 2024, returns to defend. Also teeing it up in Japan will be Hideki Matsuyama, Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, Wyndham Clark, Adam Scott and more. Tony Finau was in the field but withdrew Monday and replaced by Sam Ryder. Matsuyama and Morikawa are the other two past champs in the field.

The PGA Tour's stop in Japan was the Zozo Championship from 2019 to 2024. Past champions of this event are:

Where is the 2025 Baycurrent Classic being played?
The Zozo Championship was held at the Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club. Starting in 2025, the event will be played at Yokohama Country Club, which was redesigned by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw in 2015. The par-71, 7,315-yard golf course first opened in 1960. It has 36 holes and the Baycurrent will be played using a routing combining 16 holes from the West Course and two holes from the East Course.
