3 Auburn players Georgia football should be worried about

We highlight a trio of All-SEC Auburn players that could give Kirby Smart and Georgia football trouble

The Auburn Tigers have several elite players that the Georgia Bulldogs will have to try to contain on Saturday. The Tigers (3-2) are trying to upset No. 9 Georgia (4-1) in the Deep South's Oldest Rivalry.

Georgia has had Auburn's number in the series recently with the Bulldogs and head coach Kirby Smart winning eight consecutive games over the Tigers. Georgia is 3 1/2-point favorites over Auburn and does not have a significant talent edge like they did in previous years.

Auburn is rested up after having their first bye week of the season. This year could be the perfect storm for Auburn to pull off the upset.

Georgia is coming off a 21-point home win over SEC bottom-dweller Kentucky and is looking to win another big road game after taking down Tennessee earlier this season. The Bulldogs have hardly looked invincible this season, but have displayed a lot of resilience.

Georgia faces an Auburn team that is very talented, yet has struggled at times on offense. The Tigers have the SEC's No. 12 scoring offense at 27.6 points per game and have heavily relied on their defense to keep them in games. One issue to watch is Auburn quarterback Jackson Arnold taking sacks. He has taken 20 total sacks this season, which is the most of any SEC quarterback. The Tigers need Arnold to play well in order to beat Georgia.

Wide receiver Cam Coleman

Wide receiver Cam Coleman of the Auburn Tigers

Auburn sophomore Cam Coleman is a first-team All-SEC receiver. Coleman has an impressive combination of size and speed.

He's Auburn's second-leading receiver this season with 17 receptions for 255 yards and two touchdowns. Coleman presents a matchup problem for the Georgia secondary and is difficult to guard one-on-one.

Defensive end Keldric Faulk

Keldric Faulk is another first-team All-SEC player the Tigers have. Faulk has 10 tackles, two sacks and three pass deflections this season. He has a lot of NFL potential and should be even more disruptive this week since Georgia is playing on the road and has offensive line injuries.

"Two edge rushers that are probably their premiere players on defense, they both can cause havoc, can wreck a game plan, get off the ball, rush the passer, they do a good job changing up their looks, so it's not like oh just let them sit here and rush," Georgia coach Kirby Smart said on Auburn's edge position.

Wide receiver Eric Singleton

Auburn receiver Eric Singleton is a familiar face for the Georgia defense. Singleton, a Georgia Tech transfer, is one of the Tigers' prized transfer portal additions. Singleton is a second-team All-SEC pick and leads Auburn in receiving with 265 yards on 27 catches and a pair of touchdowns. Last year, Singleton shredded UGA for 100 total yards and a touchdown.

"He's a vertical weapon," Smart said on Singleton. "He has horizontal and vertical speed. We've seen him at Georgia Tech. He's a great player. They do a great job getting touches. They put him in the backfield, they motion him out of the backfield, they hand him sweeps, they take him vertical, they throw him screens. You have to defend the guy every way possible."

The Georgia-Auburn game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 11 and will be televised on ABC.
