Jalin Hyatt hasn't yet delivered on his potential at the NFL level.

But there's still a lot of reasons to believe in the ' third-year wide receiver.

Hyatt was a dominant star in college. He had great numbers at the NFL Combine. And the Giants invested solidly in him at the NFL Draft. 

With injuries all over the New York WR depth chart, this could be Hyatt's time.

At the University of Tennessee, Hyatt put up a mega final season in college.

In the 2022 campaign, he had 67 catches for 1,267 yards and 15 touchdowns.

That earned him the Biletnikoff Award as the top WR in the country, as well as unanimous All-American status.

Jalin Hyatt ran the 40-yard dash in 4.40 seconds at the 2023 NFL Combine.

He also vertical jumped an impressive 40 inches and broad jumped 11 feet, 3 inches.

When did the Giants draft Jalin Hyatt?

The Giants drafted Hyatt in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

He went with the 73rd overall pick.

The Giants are without both Malik Nabers and Darius Slayton for Week 6.

Behind them, it looks something like this:

  1. Wan'Dale Robinson
  2. Jalin Hyatt
  3. Beaux Collins
  4. Gunner Olszewski

That's before any practice squad call-ups for gameday. On the Giants' practice squad entering Week 6: Lil'Jordan Humphrey, Dalen Cambre and Ihmir Smith-Marsette.
