CeeDee Lamb can't get back from his ankle injury soon enough.

While the have been able to weather the storm without him thanks to standout performances from tight end Jake Ferguson and wide receivers George Pickens and Ryan Flournoy, Lamb is obviously crucial for Dallas' offense.

Lamb has missed the last two games with his high-ankle sprain, and after being given a three-to-four-week timeline to return, we might see him back in Week 7.

On Thursday, ESPN's Todd Archer added hope to that idea.

According to Archer, Lamb was outside working off to the side and using resistance bands for the second straight day at practice. Wednesday marked the first time Lamb was doing that kind of work since his injury.

All of this means that Lamb is moving forward in his rehab, which is a great sign for him returning soon.

However, Archer guesses Lamb will be back in Week 7, not Week 6.

"CeeDee Lamb continues to make progress from his high left ankle sprain. Just my guess: don’t rule him out for next week’s game vs. Washington," Archer wrote.

Despite his side work, Lamb was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday, so we can expect the same on Thursday. Barring an uptick in participation on Friday, it's likely Lamb will be out yet again against the .
