France are aiming to close in on a qualification spot for the 2026 FIFA World Cup this month.
Didier Deschamps' side host Azerbaijan in Paris on October 10 before a trip to Iceland three days later.
The 2022 finalists are on course to ease over the qualification line after back-to-back wins in September away to Ukraine and at home against Iceland.
Les Bleus will secure their automatic place in the tournament next summer if they make it four wins out of four by the end of the October window.
Deschamps is missing a few key players due to injury, with 2025 Ballon d'Or winner Ousmane Dembele amongst the absentees, but attacker Kylian Mbappe has been passed fit.
Mbappe has been in electric form for club and country so far this season and he will be vital once again as France captain.

Will Mbappe play for Germany against Azerbaijan?
Mbappe landed into the France camp on the back of scoring 14 goals in all competitions for Xabi Alonso's team so far in 2025/26.
However, the 26-year-old was also nursing a slight ankle injury, but after missing France's opening training session, Deschamps looked to ease the concerns.
"The setback isn’t serious enough for him to go back to Real Madrid. We just want to avoid any unnecessary risks, but there’s no reason to panic."
Deschamps' comments were backed up by the man himself as Mbappe rejected doubts over his role against Azerbaijan and Iceland.
"The coach wants me to play. I don't think there will be a major problem. I feel good and I want to play to continue on this path towards World Cup qualification."

Mbappe has started all eight of Real Madrid's La Liga games so far in 2025/26 with nine goals scored, and five goals in two in the UEFA .
He's only completed 90 minutes four times in league action, but all four substitutions came after the 80-minute mark from Alonso, and he started both UCL games.
A goal in each of France's September qualifiers underlined his importance to Deschamps and he could break the France national team goal record before the end of 2025.
His penalty winner against Iceland eased him above Thierry Henry to No.2 on the list, with 52 France goals in 92 games, and only Olivier Giroud is above him on 57.
