Chelsea winger Estevao Willian has named the one thing that is much tougher under Enzo Maresca for him this season.
The 18-year-old arrived at Stamford Bridge from Palmeiras in Brazil this summer to finally complete his move and officially become a Chelsea player. We knew he was coming and we had years of hype before his arrival, and now we are seeing why Chelsea have rated him so highly and paid so much to sign a 17-year-old at the time of agreeing the deal.

Estevao has burst onto the scene in a Chelsea shirt and I think that Enzo Maresca has handled him very well in a sense that he has kept him on the bench and handed him some minutes here and there, easing him in rather than throwing him right into the pressure cooking right away. He’s allowing him to settle in slowly and find his feet, which he absolutely is doing.

The young attacker says that the training at Chelsea is more intense, as you’d expect it to be.
“Andrey [Santos] and João [Pedro] are spectacular; they’re not here for nothing. Of course, I’ve been getting closer to them since the beginning.
“When you arrive, you don’t know what things are like, but you learn. The training intensity is higher here, and that reflects in the game. I’m managing to keep up with the pace.”
In other news this week
Moises Caicedo has admitted that it was actually Nicolas Jackson who was his best mate at Chelsea but of course, he has now left the club and joined Bayern Munich on loan.
And according to my colleague, Chelsea fans will not like Marc Cucurella’s Champions League predictions that he has made this week!
