EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Conference USA released the 2025-2026 Women’s Basketball Preseason Poll on Monday, decided upon by the leagues 12 coaches.
Louisiana Tech was selected to finish first overall with 128 points, the Bulldogs own Paris Bradley was named the CUSA Preseason Player of the Year as well.
UTEP was anticipated to finished 8th, tied with Kennesaw State, with 57 points – in addition to the Miners Ivane Tensaie earned a spot on the CUSA Preseason Honoree list.
New Mexico State landed 10th on the list with 51 points.
NMSU will start with Cochise College Sunday, October 26th at the Pan. UTEP will begin its slate against Prairie View A&M November 3rd at the Don with tipoff at noon.
