There are now just eight drivers competing in the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs after four more were cut from the field this past Sunday. Ross Chastain, Bubba Wallace, Tyler Reddick and Austin Cindric were eliminated after last weekend's race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, and Denny Hamlin currently sits at the top of the field of remaining drivers. 

The next elimination race will be the Xfinity 500 at Martinsville Speedway on Sunday, Oct. 26; after that race, just four drivers will remain, vying for the championship title at Phoenix Raceway on November 2. The South Point 400 will air this Sunday on USA. The broadcast begins at 5:30 p.m. ET. An alternate driver-cam will also be available to stream live on HBO Max. Additional Cup Series practice and qualifying coverage this Saturday will air on truTV.
