In a recent interview with the United Stand, journalist Ben Jacobs claimed that Manchester United are keeping tabs on Levante striker Karl Etta Eyong. Jacobs said,
“I know they’re looking at younger players, Etta Eyong is someone that Manchester United have scouted.
“It doesn’t mean a great deal at this point, he’s doing very well at the moment, a 21-year-old, playing for Levante.
“Tottenham and Juventus are also keeping tabs on him too.
“I think he’s got 8 goal contributions in 8 games which puts him just behind Kylian Mbappe so it’s obvious that they’ve got this youth lead project.”
Eyong’s Good Run Of Form In La Liga
Eyong has made an impressive start to this campaign as he has produced a series of impressive performances for the Spanish outfit in front of the opponent’s goal. The Cameroonian talent has netted five goals and secured three assists in eight appearances for Levante this season across all competitions.
The 21-year-old has led the charge well for the Spanish club and has done well to average 3.07 shots per 90 minutes in La Liga. He has kept 38.5% of his shots on target. However, Eyong needs to be more accurate when distributing the ball after making 72.6% of his attempted passes in the top tier of Spanish football (stats via fbref.com).

Manchester United Are Keeping Tabs On Eyong: Is He A Prospect For The Future?
Eyong excels at finding some space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has got the eye to create the odd chance for his teammates to find the back of the net and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet.
The Cameroonian talent has already shown a few glimpses of his potential this season. However, he is still quite inexperienced and could struggle to cope with the physicality and high intensity of the Premier League if the Red Devils manage to land him in 2026.
Eyong would no doubt improve the quality of Man United boss Ruben Amorim’s frontline in the long run. He is already good enough to serve as a useful presence in the Mancunian club’s squad.
At 21, Eyong is undoubtedly a prospect to watch out for in the future. Hence, Amorim should think about going all out to recruit him next year.
