Ruston running back Dalen Powell is one of the state's leading rushers with 779 yards and eight touchdowns. The Bearcats also have one of the top tight ends of the 2027 class in Ahmad Hudson.

Ouachita senior Montrell Conner has been instrumental his team's fast start this season. Conner has accounted for 1,033 yards and 22 touchdowns as one of the key offensive players for the Lions.
