FRANKLIN LAKES − Ramapo rang up four touchdowns before Wayne Valley secured a first down.
The Green Raiders cruised to a 42-7 victory over the Indians in the Super Football Conference on Oct. 10 after scoring two TDs in each of the first two quarters for a 28-0 lead.
Senior quarterback Casey Grusser threw for 164 yards and two TDs and ran for two scores before taking a seat early in the fourth with the 42-7 lead and running clock.
Grusser threw an 8-yard TD pass to senior receiver Sal Livoti and a 5-yard score to senior receiver Joseph Yessis.
Grusser opened the scoring by scrambling for a 30-yard TD, and he ran for an 8-yard score in the fourth.
Junior linebacker Jack Schneider returned an interception 8 yards for a TD in the first quarter to stake the Green Raiders to a 14-0 lead.
Wayne Valley produced one stellar drive and turned it into a TD with 18 seconds left in the second quarter. Senior Danny Ferrauilo capped a 13-play drive that began at the 25-yard line by tossing a 5-yard score to junior receiver Jadon Cabrales.
