The Ravens' season keeps spiraling downward. Lamar Jackson suffered a hamstring injury against the Chiefs, and he'll be held out of another game Sunday against the Rams.
Baltimore is 1-4 and starting Cooper Rush for the second consecutive game. Last week's outing ended in a 44-10 blowout loss to the Texans.
In addition to offensive struggles without Jackson, the defense is one of the worst in the NFL. It's allowed 41, 17, 38, 37 and 44 points in five weeks. The 17-point performance was against the Browns, who had more offensive yards than Baltimore.
The Rams will be a difficult matchup, even though the Ravens are at home. Matthew Stafford is connecting with Puka Nacua at a historic rate, as the third-year wide receiver is on pace to break the all-time single-season receiving yards record.
Slowing that tandem down will be a major challenge on Sunday, Oct. 12. Luckily, the Ravens get a bye in Week 7, giving players some more time to recover from injuries.
