Serbia’s loss to Albania on Sunday night means England can book their place at next year’s World Cup with a win over Latvia on Tuesday.
The Three Lions have enjoyed a perfect record in qualifying, winning five games out of five with the most recent victory coming over Serbia.
Albania’s win means they have moved up to second ahead of Serbia.
But England beating Latvia would see them move seven points clear of Albania with just two games remaining.
Latvia are second from bottom in the group having won just one of their qualifying games so far.
