Alabama stock report: Who shined during Week 7 road win vs. Missouri?

Headlined by defensive end LT Overton, here are three Alabama players who impressed Saturday vs. Missouri.

This past Saturday afternoon, the Alabama Crimson Tide traveled to Columbia, Missouri to play a ranked opponent for the third consecutive game.

Facing the Missouri Tigers, Alabama you could certainly make an argument did not play their best game Saturday, but it was still enough to defeat a Top 15 team on the road, 27-24.

Alabama also saw multiple players make a key impact in the win as well, headlined by standout quarterback Ty Simpson with yet another strong showing. However, Simpson was not the only one who impressed for Alabama against the Tigers.

Let's take a look at three players whose stocks are rising as a result of their performance against Missouri.

LT Overton, Defensive End, Senior

For the Alabama defense, Overton was likely one of the Crimson Tide's most impactful players against Missouri, as the defensive end finished with six total tackles, two of which were solo. Overton also had 1.5 sacks and 1.5 TFL in the win, the former of which was a season-high.

Simpson was once again strong in Alabama's victory over Missouri, completing 23-of-31 passes for 200 yards and three touchdowns. The redshirt junior also rushed for seven yards on 10 attempts, and posted a total QBR of 78.6.
