Dak knows where the team's weakness is.

The in 2025 are a team that, for most, is easy to get a read on, and through six weeks, they are turning out to be exactly who we thought they would be.
An offense that is so potent that they can beat anyone, and a defense that is so poor that any team can beat them, and in the 30-27 loss to the , we saw the pitfalls of this Dallas team on full display.
Dak Prescott and Co. were mostly moving the ball up and down the field, while the defense struggled to stop anyone, except for Rico Dowdle.
And when analyzing the team across the opening six weeks, Dak, after a long pause, dealt some truth about this Cowboys unit.
“We can play with anyone, but it’s the NFL and we got to make sure we’re locked in because you can lose any game,” Prescott said. “That’s the beauty of the NFL, the parity. Dallas' defense has to show improvement
Once again, the Cowboys' defense had several receivers running free at all three levels against Carolina, and that improved run defense we were told about just allowed 216 yards on the ground.
You will be hard-pressed to find one thing that Cowboy Nation can find positive from Matt Eberflus' unit because right now, Dallas might have the worst defense in football, and yes, I'm counting the struggling in that, too.
With the Cowboys' offense able to score 30+ points at will, the defense equally gives up 30+, and many feel that what Dak and the offense are doing is being wasted by a horrific defensive unit.
Things have to change, and they have to change quickly because this isn't sustainable, and the Cowboys might very well waste one of the best offenses in football because the defense is so poor.
Will changes be made? Don't hold your breath.
