Bayern Munich are off to a flying start this season with 10 straight wins across competitions and have looked like a well-oiled machine.
The Bavarians have not only won all of their matches heading into the international break, but they have also dominated proceedings scoring 38 goals while conceding eight goals. .
Despite their supreme form in this period, Vincent Kompany is still waiting for three players to return to full fitness to make his team even stronger across all departments.
The likes of Alphonso Davies, Hiroki Ito and Jamal Musiala are all out with long-term injuries, but the Canadian is gradually nearing his return to full fitness.
Davies has issued a positive update about his health after suffering a devastating ACL injury earlier this year. He tore his ACL in March during Canada's CONCACAF Nations League third place play off against the United States.
Earlier he shared his painful experience from recovering ACL injury where he touched upon the mental toll over physical strain.

The 23-year-old underwent surgery and was expected to remain on the sidelines for six-eight months. However, he has already started light training and individual running sessions.
"I’m running and training well. I just need to put a bit more muscle mass on my right leg," Davies said about his progress. "When the doctors told me after the injury how long it might take, I thought, ‘Oh wow, it’s going to be a long journey.’ But now everything is looking good."
"The future looks good; the hardest part of rehab is now behind me. I’m excited and looking forward to rejoining the team and playing the sport, I love. I can hardly wait to be on the pitch with my teammates, to help them win games, and to fight for our goals."
When will Davies return to Bayern's first-team training?
Bayern Munich doctors have been closely monitoring Davies' progress since he underwent surgery and throughout his rehabilitation process.
The early part of his rehab included stability exercises, strength training and some agility drills. Since early October he has return to the field with light ball work and running, making significant progress.
Despite him looking back to his best, Bayern doctors and members of the strength and conditioning team will keep a close eye on the 23-year-old as they are looking to show patience and restraint before unleashing him back into the field.
"In rehab, you work on different areas over and over again, which puts a strain on your mind and challenges your body. Sometimes your body says, ‘I don’t want to do this anymore.’ Then you have to be mentally strong. That’s the only way to make it. If you don’t do it yourself, no one else will."
The Canadian also credited Musiala and Ito for supporting him throughout this emotional journey of recovery as they were battling their own demons. "We see each other every day and try to keep each other motivated. It helps when you have good people around you."
Bayern Munich have not mentioned a return date for Davies but there's optimism that the fullback will return to first team training before the end of the year. The return will happen gradually as the Bavarians are looking to prioritize caution over short-term gains.
