Kent seamer Jas Singh extends his contract until the end of the 2027 season.
Kent seamer Jas Singh has extended his contract until the end of the 2027 season.
The 23-year-old, who came through the club's academy ranks, made his debut in 2021 at the age of 18.
He has gone on to take 47 wickets in 32 games with a career-best 4-35 against Northamptonshire earlier this year.
Singh missed most of the 2025 campaign after suffering an ankle injury in April.
"My injury came just as I was starting to get into a good rhythm with my bowling, but I've been working hard to get fit again," Singh told the club website.
"During the winter I'll continue to work to become the best bowler that I can be, to try and nail down my own first-team place going forward."
Kent director of cricket Simon Cook added: "Jas showed many glimpses of his high potential last season before his unfortunate injury.
"He is a tall, sturdy bowler that generates pace and bounce off the surface and he will only continue to improve as he earns more first-team opportunities.
"We hope that Jas will be just one of multiple homegrown Kent seamers in the coming years."
