A club has apparently identified a Chelsea player as their prime target and there is a possible swap deal on the cards.
Chelsea continue to get linked with new players as we move towards another transfer window opening up this winter. The summer seems like it was only yesterday and already we are turning attentions to the winter window that opens in around two and a half months times. It will be here before we know it now!

Will Chelsea be busy? Who knows. I don’t expect them to, but there is a chance that they might look to sign a new centre back, and they’ve been linked recently with one name.
Dortmund defender Nico Schlotterbeck has reportedly emerged as a key target for the Blues recently, with his current contract set to expire in 2027, meaning he could soon become available.
So when you read this next story, it tells you that there could potentially be a swap deal that the two clubs could do here if the rumours are correct.

According to reports on BILD, Borussia Dortmund have identified Axel Disasi as their primary summer target if Nico Schlotterbeck decides to move on.
Disasi has very much become out of favour at Chelsea under Enzo Maresca and he is not playing for them right now or even making the bench. You think that he will almost certainly leave the club in January, and Dortmund sounds like it could be a good option for him.
We will have to see if anything comes of these links and the Schlotterbeck thing but perhaps it might be a case of doing each other a favour.
