The New York Jets dropped to 0-6 after a disastrous performance against the Denver Broncos in London. What makes this loss more stunning and more disastrous than the other losses this season is that the Jets had a chance to win.

But two key moments hampered the Jets' chances of success. Aside from Justin Fields' major struggles, Aaron Glenn's decision-making at the end of each half cost the Jets a chance to win the game. Of the two halves, his decision at the end of the first half was poor at best, and dysfunctional at worst.

Jets writer Zack Rosenblatt for The Athletic, in the wake of the lackluster 13-11 loss, blasted Glenn for his end-of-half decision-making, calling his choice a "retreat," and that's it's far from only him who is seeing this poor coaching job.

Jets writer blasts Aaron Glenn for disastrous decision-making

"There was nothing to execute at the end of the first half, as it turns out." Rosenblatt writes. "Glenn chose to retreat to the locker room instead. To (Garrett) Wilson, and to many watching, that's how everything feels right now - a retreat."

The Jets are winless through six weeks, and with this terrible loss to the Broncos, Glenn's coaching is being called into question. Garrett Wilson was irate on the sideline after the first half, and he had good reason to be.

With the ball in field goal range, a hard, but makeable 62-yarder for Nick Folk wasn't on the table. Instead, the Jets could've run a Hail Mary to try and get a lucky touchdown.

However, they instead let the clock run out after near-constant indecision on the final drive of the half. They ran a fake punt, took timeouts, and yet, didn't snap the ball to end the half down 10-6.

That sequence drew heavy criticism, and Rosenblatt's call-out of Glenn highlights how poorly things are going in his first season as Jets head coach.

Not only are people outside of the organization recognizing how bad a retreat Glenn pulled off, but a superstar player like Wilson is also not afraid of critiquing this decision. Wilson revealed he was disappointed in the decision, further highlighting the dysfunction within the Jets organization.

New York needs to figure things out quickly, as the Jets are unraveling as a team just six weeks into the NFL season. Their next matchup in Week 7 is against the red-hot Carolina Panthers, who are coming off an impressive win over the Dallas Cowboys.

The Panthers are 3-3, and while they have plenty of their own issues, their performance lately has been leagues better than what the Jets have put onto the field.

While the players on the Jets are struggling, their head coach isn't helping much. Glenn's decision to retreat to the locker room was an indictment of the season for the Jets. They're retreating, and it's not just Rosenblatt and fans who recognize this nature; Garrett Wilson also is viewing the team's actions as a retreat.
