Erie Times-News' list of District 10's top performing athletes for Oct. 13-18

The Erie Times-News is compiling a list of notable performances by District 10's athletes for the week of Oct. 13-18.

Each week during the PIAA's 2025-26 calendar year, the Erie Times-News will compile lists of notable performances by District 10's athletes.

Fans who would like to submit suggestions for inclusion can do so at [email protected]. Please include the student's name and specifics of achievement for an event during that specific week.

This week's top performers are:

Girls soccer

Claire Delaney, Cathedral Prep: She contributed to the four goals the Ramblers scored en route to their shutout of the Fairview Tigers.

Haley Rosswog, McDowell: Her goals accounted for half of the Trojans’ total when they blanked the Girard YellowJackets 4-0.

Maggie McLaughlin, Seneca: She scored on offense and, as one of the Bobcats’ three goalkeepers, also helped blank the Iroquois Braves 6-0.

Anna Randolph, Harbor Creek: Her two goals comprised the bulk of the offense for the Huskies when they beat the Erie High Royals 3-0.

Addy Friday, Fort LeBoeuf: She scored two goals and assisted on two others for the Bison when they recorded a 5-0 shutout of the rival General McLane Lancers.

Girls volleyball

Nevaeh Kelley, Northwestern: She recorded her 1,000th career dig during the Wildcats’ match against Erie High.

Lucia Bennett, Erie High

Lucia Bennett, Erie High: Her double-double of 22 kills and 13 digs highlighted the Royals’ four-set win vs. the Northwestern Wildcats.

Sophia Primavere, Seneca: The Bobcats, with help from her seven aces and 11 assists, beat the Conneaut (Ohio) Spartans in four sets.

Lexi Caldwell, Slippery Rock: She assisted 17 times for the Rockets, who swept the Jamestown (Pennsylvania) Muskies.

Lexi Janke, Harbor Creek: The Huskies, aided by her seven kills and 19 digs, defeated Meadville in four sets.

Maggie Jackson, Cochranton: She assisted 37 times during the Cardinals’ four-set victory vs. the Fairview Tigers.

Rylee Burnett, Reynolds: She assisted on 11 points for the Raiders, who swept the rival Greenville Trojans.

Kallie Stull, Fort LeBoeuf: She totaled 13 kills when the Bison beat the Union City Bears in four sets.

Malaysia Sorensen, Warren: The Dragons, aided by her 28 digs, beat District 9 power Clarion.
