The Buffalo Bills slumped to a 24-14 loss to the Atlanta Falcons in a game where the offense simply failed to get going aside from a couple of drives.

The Atlanta defense dealt with Josh Allen and Co. well throughout the contest, picking off Allen twice, sacking him four times, and only allowing two third-down conversions, and kept the offense to just 291 total yards, the lowest of the season.

It was tough sledding for the offense, and a brutal watch as the Falcons' defense seemed to have all the answers to the test and kept the Bills to just 14 points, easily their lowest total of the year.

And Allen knows where it all went wrong.

“It takes everyone,” Allen said. “Little details matter, I wasn't good enough, and we got to find ways. We had some God-given opportunities to take advantage of, and we didn't."

Bills' offense shut down vs. Falcons

Allen was kept in check for most of the night, going 15 of 26 for just 180 yards, along with two touchdowns and two interceptions, but he didn't get much help from his weapons.

Joshua Palmer (60 yards) was the best receiver, and he left the game in the second quarter, while Khalil Shakir (33 yards) and Tyrell Shavers (27 yards) were the next best. As for Keon Coleman? The young receiver had a poor night, having just three receptions for 11 yards.

The Bills are now on a two-game losing streak and enter their bye needing to halt this skid because now the division and playoff seedings are jumbled. Are we worried about Buffalo? No, but lose to the Carolina Panthers in Week 8? Yeah, alarm bells will be going off.

It was a poor night all around for the Bills, and unfortunately, they won't get a shot at redemption for two weeks.
