La Grange Park (Ill.) Mount Carmel three-star EDGE Joey Quinn has decommitted from Vanderbilt, he announced on Tuesday evening.
He was committed to the Commodores since March 26.
“I would like to thank Vanderbilt University and the football staff for the opportunity. At this time, I have decided to decommit from Vanderbilt. My recruitment is now reopen,” Quinn wrote announcing his decision on X.
Quinn is the No. 868 overall prospect and No. 89 EDGE in the 2026 cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 25 player in Illinois.
The 6-foot-6, 250-pounder also holds offers from the likes of Louisville, Cincinnati, Minnesota, Purdue, Kansas State and Mizzou. His decision leaves Vandy with 18 commits in its 2026 class. The Commodores rank outside the top 40 of the Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
