Does tag team expert Booker T believe The Hardys or the Dudley Boyz are the greatest team of their era?
On the latest episode of The Hall of Fame Podcast, NXT commentator Booker T spoke about the tables match between The Hardys and the Dudleys at TNA Bound For Glory and declared that Matt and Jeff Hardy are the greatest tag team of their era.
“I give the Hardys that nod as being the greatest tag team of their era, they really are,” Booker T said.
Booker T also made it clear that he hopes the Hardys will make a future appearance for his independent wrestling promotion, Reality of Wrestling.
When it comes to the Dudleys’ impressive amount of title reigns across multiple companies, Booker T refused to count their title reigns in places like ECW, calling them regional championships.
“You can’t count those. You can’t count ECW, and you can’t count HUSTLE,” Booker T stated. “The rest of those titles, you count them. Those are legitimate world titles. They were defended all over the world. Not like the ECW titles… you’re running shows at 3 a.m. in the morning on the Sunshine Network. Come on. Let’s just keep it real here.” [H/T: WrestlingNews.co]

Matt and Jeff Hardy defeated Bully Ray and D-Von at TNA Bound For Glory in a Tables match. Following the match, the Dudleys took off their boots and handed them to the Hardys, signifying that they are both officially retired.
