The Kansas City Chiefs will be welcoming wide receiver Rashee Rice back after he has officially served his suspension.

Rice was suspended for the first six games of the 2025 season for violating the NFL's policy on personal conduct, but now that we turn the page to Week 7, Rice will be making his season debut against the Las Vegas Raiders.

"I know he's been working like crazy," head coach Andy Reid said of Rice. "And I think it's just a matter of getting him back in the swing. I've got to see it to kind of work through it. I know he's in good shape, that's the one thing that I do know.

"I think that will be important, him coming back in there and getting with Patrick (Mahomes) and kind of getting on the same page and that whole deal," Reid added. "But we'll just see how all that works out. We haven't put the game plan in yet so we're working through all of that now."

With just days to go before he makes his return to the field, Rice dropped this hype video that is sure to leave Chiefs fans even more excited than they already are for Rice's return.

A former second-round pick of the Chiefs in 2023, Rice had a very impressive rookie year with 79 catches for 938 yards and seven touchdowns, which quickly cemented him as Patrick Mahomes' No. 1 wide receiver.

But Rice appeared in just four games last season due to a torn ACL, so not only is he coming back from suspension, but a serious injury, also.

Rice joins a wide receivers room that also includes Xavier Worthy, Marquise Brown and Tyquan Thornton, all of whom have stepped up with Rice out.

Thornton has been particularly impressive, although he might find work hard to come by in the weeks ahead now that Rice has returned.
