Oregon Ducks unveil all-white 'Stormtrooper' uniforms with new helmet for Rutgers game

The Oregon Ducks unveiled a new helmet for Week 8, which they will wear with the 'Stormtrooper' uniforms vs. Rutgers.

One of the most beloved uniforms in Oregon Ducks football history was debuted over a decade ago when the team went down to Southern California and "stormed LA," wearing what have now been dubbed the "Stormtrooper" uniforms. All white from head to toe, looking like Stormtroopers in the Star Wars franchise, this uniform set has been worn a few times, and it's among the top fan favorites.

And they're coming back this weekend for Oregon's Week 8 game against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.

On Wednesday night, the Ducks broke out their uniforms for the week, revealing a new "Stormtrooper" look that will feature a never-before-seen helmet combination. Instead of a white helmet, Oregon is using the marble helmet that was first unveiled in Week 3 against the Oregon State Beavers as part of the "Shoe Duck" jersey combination.

This time, however, the marble helmet has SILVER wings on the sides, rather than the gold wings, and a black facemask. The uniform is white with silver wings on the shoulders, with white pants, white socks, and white cleats.

It's going to be one of the cleanest looks of the season, and one that is beloved for a long time.
