LINDSIDE, WV (WVNS) – As we do every Wednesday, we are putting the spotlight on the local high school football player who caught our eye the most last Friday.
Our Week 7 player of the week is James Monroe’s Kadyn Hines!
The Mavericks trounced the Greenbrier West Cavaliers, arguably their biggest rivals, last week with a dominant 42-7 win, and Hines’ play was a big reason why.
He caught two touchdown passes and had two interceptions, one of which he ran all the way back for a pick-six. Hines also had almost 100 yards receiving on just three catches, making the most of his opportunities.
Hines and the Mavericks have a big one this Friday, as they host Midland Trail in Lindside for our Game of the Week.
