According to an update shared by Defensa Central, Liverpool fans are already planning an unfriendly reception for Trent Alexander-Arnold when Real Madrid visit Anfield in November.
The full-back, who spent 21 years at Liverpool, made the switch to the Spanish capital after his contract with the Reds expired, leaving many fans feeling betrayed.
Despite the anticipation, the match is still a few weeks away, but tensions are building.
Reports indicate that if Alexander-Arnold is fit enough to start, he “will not be received with enthusiasm by the local fans, who believe the 27-year-old player betrayed the club by breaching his contract after rising through the academy.”
For his part, the full-back remains deeply attached to Liverpool, a club he joined in 2004 and where he spent the majority of his life and career.
Even after leaving, he continues to express love and respect for the team. However, like any professional, he recognised that his time at Liverpool had come to an end.
Real Madrid offered an opportunity he could not pass up, and he chose to take it.

Alexander-Arnold has returned to training after recent injury issues and is making progress toward full fitness.
He has started training and could briefly feature in Sunday’s league match against Getafe.
So far this season, although his performances at Real Madrid have not yet matched the high expectations set by his Liverpool career, the club’s technical staff remain confident.
The full-back is simply going through an adaptation period, and it is expected that he will gradually regain his best form.
As the November clash at Anfield approaches, all eyes will be on Alexander-Arnold, who must oversee the emotional return to his boyhood club while continuing his development in the Spanish capital.
