Johann Lepenant (22) may be set for a spell on the sidelines after a scan revealed a crack in his tibia, as per a report from Presse Océan.

Lepenant took the tests on his tibia after feeling discomfort in the area in recent weeks, following a hit that he took during the 2-2 draw at the end of September. Whilst those tests did not reveal a fracture, as may have been feared, the France youth international does have a crack in his tibia.

Having missed Nantes’ game against Stade Brestois (0-0) before the international break, he is now set for a more extended spell on the sidelines. He will certainly miss the weekend’s game against Lille OSC.

Lepenant could also miss the games against Paris FC, AS Monaco, and FC Metz, all of whom Les Canaris play between now and the next international break in mid-November. There is, however, hope that the midfielder will feature to some extent before that break.
