According to a report from Le Parisien, Paris Saint-Germain spoke to the residents of Massy on Wednesday evening as they look to secure a site to build their new stadium. Les Parisiens announced in March that they plan to leave the Parc des Princes for a bigger stadium.

150 people from the local commune of Massy attended the meeting with officials from the UEFA Champions League to express and discuss potential concerns of building a new stadium in the town, around 30km outside the centre of Paris. The residents expressed concerns, including security, nuisances and increased traffic at Massy’s town hall.

Massy or Poissy for PSG?

Despite the meeting at the town hall, Paris Saint-Germain are not guaranteed to build a new stadium in the South West of Paris. Poissy is also an option for the French capital club. Les Parisiens attempted to move to the Stade de France, but this request was rebuffed by the stadium’s owners.
