Hamilton continues to hold the top spot in the USA TODAY Sports Super 25 flag football rankings, with the Huskies adding to an impressive resume after winning the Fiesta Bowl Copper State Invitational last week. The team has now won 27 games in a row since 2024, and has certainly warranted the No. 1 ranking.

However, don't count out the teams giving chase in the top 5, which has a new look headlined by Illinois powerhouse Willowbrook (Villa Park, Ill.) that's on a dynamic run in the IHSA state tournament.

Outside looking in, Georgia has a new team in the mix, with Greenbrier (Evans, Ga.) jumping to No. 2 in the state after taking down Super 25 contenders Milton (Ga.) and Pope (Marietta, Ga.) last week.

And finally, we turn our attention to Alaska, where South Anchorage's 2025 season ended with the school's first-ever flag football state title. Congratulations to the Wolverines and welcome to the Super 25!

Super 25 flag football selection process

In partnership with the NFL, the teams are determined by a USA TODAY Network selection committee of editors and writers in the participating states and the USA TODAY High School Sports staff.

The process considers factors ranging from last year's results based on NFHS Network data, carryover into this season, and a primary focus on 2025 records and overall performance. A team's state ranking influences its national placement, a process that allows editorial expertise and objectivity to blend with the ever-present subjectivity.
