Southampton and Swansea City face off this Saturday at the St. Mary´s Stadium in EFL Championship. The match will be broadcast live at 12:30 on Sky Sports +.

Southampton have picked up 11 points and currently lie in 17th position. In their last fixture, Will Still's team shared the spoils 1-1 with Derby County (EFL Championship 2025/26).

Swansea City have 12 points to their name this season and occupy 12th position in the table. In their last game, Alan Sheehan's team lost 1-3 against Leicester City (EFL Championship 2025/26).

The last meeting between the two teams ended with Southampton winning 3-0.

Luke Davies (Swans Cast): The international break is over once again and Swansea head to Southampton to play a team in the Premier League last season who, somewhat surprisingly are below the Swans in the Championship going into this game.

Southampton have had a tough start to life back in the Championship, with new manager Will Still adjusting to his new team and league, with his ideas taking some time to embed in the squad. Much the same as Swansea, goals have been more of a concern than the fans would of liked, and their main man Ross Steward has once again picked up a long term injury leaving them short up top.

This could all present an opportunity for Swansea who look to improve their own attacking output, and bounce back from their 3-1 loss to Leicester. There will be hopes the international break hasn't proved a disruption with many of the first team away over the period, ahead of what is a difficult 21 day period with 7 games.

I predict another tight game here, with a score draw the most likely result.
