HS Football Week 9 Roundup: Fisher Catholic falls short in MSL-Cardinal title bid

Looking to win a share of the Mid-State League-Cardinal Division title, Fisher Catholic had no answer for Grove City Christian.

The Irish knew what they were up against facing Grove City Christian, and as it turned out, they didn’t have an answer during Friday’s Mid-State League-Cardinal Division showdown between the two league leaders with the Eagles taking the 41-0 win.

Fisher Catholic dropped to 7-2 overall and 5-1 in the league. The Eagles improved to 7-2 and 5-0. The Irish, who have already clinched a playoff spot in Division VII, Region 27, will play a nonconference game in Week 10.
