Chelsea are among the clubs interested in Saint-Etienne forward Djylian N’Guessan according to reports in France.
N’Guessan impressed for France in the under-20 World Cup in Chile , and the Blues are known for having their eye across the best young talent in world football.
Chelsea scouts will likely have been keeping a close eye on the competition as they look to sign up the stars of tomorrow.
Chelsea interested in Djylian N’Guessan
The competition has yet to conclude but France were knocked out by Morocco on penalties in the semi finals, and will contest the third place match against Colombia, with the final Argentina vs Morocco.
A number of players impressed for France, one of which was Saint-Etienne youngster N’Guessan who made eight appearances in Ligue 1 last season.
N’Guessan is attracting interest from a number of clubs including Chelsea.
According to L’Equipe Chelsea are one of the clubs interested in the 17-year-old, who has yet to make an appearance in Ligue 2 this campaign.
The report adds the striker is also attracting interest from Watford, Inter Milan and Udinese, who have accelerated talks during the U20 World Cup.
Chelsea own Ligue 1 side Strasbourg, and any potential move for N’Guessan could fall under the BlueCo umbrella, with a view to making the switch to Stamford Bridge later down the line.
