Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has on Saturday continued to etch his name ever further into the history books of Spanish football.
This comes by way of his appearance in the Blaugrana’s latest outing.
Barcelona are of course currently locked in action on the domestic front.
In their return to the pitch on the back of the October international break, Hansi Flick’s troops have welcomed Catalan rivals Girona to Montjuïc for a La Liga clash.
The aforementioned Lamine Yamal, after a fresh spell on the sidelines with injury, was thrown straight back into Barca’s starting XI by boss Flick.
And in the process, the Spanish international secured for himself yet another La Liga record.
As revealed by statisticians ‘StatMuse’ on ‘X’, Lamine is now the player with the most appearances ever in Spain’s top-flight before turning 19 years of age (78), overtaking former Athletic Club star Iker Muniain:
