On Sunday, Jefferson can join NFL receiver royalty Randy Moss and Torry Holt.
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson has solidified himself as a household name rather quickly in the NFL. He has been the league's best receiver in terms of yardage, among other categories, since coming into the league.
On Sunday, Jefferson can join NFL receiver royalty Randy Moss and Torry Holt. Since Jefferson joined the NFL in 2020, he has led all players with 7,881 receiving yards and ranks tied for fourth with 524 receptions. Against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, if Jefferson can get at least 119 yards receiving, he will join Moss and Holt as the only players ever with at least 8,000 yards receiving in their first six seasons. The climbing of the record charts doesn't stop there either.
With five receptions during Week 7, Jefferson would pass DeAndre Hopkins (528 receptions) for the second-most receptions in a player's first six seasons in NFL history. He would trail only Jarvis Landry (564), who has more.
The Minnesota Vikings will play the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday at 1 PM EST on FOX.
