According to Opta, Mbeumo’s goal was only 2nd time ever in Premier League history that goal was scored in the opening 2 minute of Liverpool - Man United fixture. The previous instance dates back nearly 30 years when Nicky Butt struck early at Old Trafford in October 1995.
