Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young limped to the locker room in the third quarter of a Week 7 matchup with the New York Jets.

Young suffered an apparent ankle injury as he worked to evade a sack. While Carolina was on defense, Young exited the field toward the locker rooms at MetLife Stadium.

Young suffered an apparent right ankle injury as he attempted to scramble from New York pass rushers.

On the play, it appeared that Jets DT Jowon Briggs stepped on Young's right leg, causing the ankle injury. Ahead of the fourth quarter, the Panthers ruled Young questionable to return to the game.
