The Chicago Bears won their fourth game in a row, defeating the New Orleans Saints 26-14 at Soldier Field.

Thanks to an incredible defensive performance from Chicago, the Bears now improve to 4-2 on the season, tied with the Detroit Lions for second place in the NFC North and one game back from the Green Bay Packers.

Head coach Ben Johnson addressed the locker room following the win and gifted a singular game ball to one of the unsung heroes of the afternoon.

Ben Johnson gifts game ball to former Saints coach Dennis Allen

Johnson handed the ball to defensive coordinator Dennis Allen, who had served as New Orleans' defensive coordinator and head coach from 2015 to 2024.

"I have one game ball right now, okay. I already talked about defense, four turnovers. Defense, 44 yards on the ground. Defense, four sacks... Dennis Allen come here!"

The locker room was erupting around their beloved coach.

Despite the obvious revenge factor here between Allen and his former team, the Bears' defense came to play today.

Saints quarterback Spencer Rattler turned the ball over four times today, throwing three interceptions and losing one fumble. There was also no ground game to speak of, with running backs combining for a total of 44 yards on the ground.

New Orleans had a hard time converting third and fourth downs today, going three-for-10 and zero-for-two, respectively.

Clearly, there was some unfinished business between the Saints and Allen, and he was saving his best stuff for the Week 5 matchup against his former employer.
