It's the last thing anyone supporting the Washington Commanders ever wants to see:
Jayden Daniels is injured.
The Dallas Cowboys got a load of bodies around him in the backfield, and when Daniels was brought to the ground, his right leg looked to be yanked in an odd way.
Daniels came up holding the back of his right upper leg.
He limped off the field with trainers during the second half of the Week 7 clash with Dallas.
Daniels went to the medical tent with trainers, and the television broadcast went to commercial.
Eventually, Daniels was shown slowly jogging to the locker room.

Who is the Commanders' backup QB?
Washington's No. 2 quarterback is Marcus Mariota.
The former Oregon star did get to start earlier this season when Daniels was out with a knee injury.
This injury wasn't to the same leg. Daniels is wearing a big brace on his left knee, but this was clearly a right leg injury, potentially to the hamstring.
Commanders QB depth chart
This is how the Commanders' QB depth chart looks when everyone is healthy:
- Jayden Daniels
- Marcus Mariota
- Josh Johnson
The Commanders feel good about Mariota, and Johnson has as much experience as any No. 3 QB in the NFL.
