Aubrey is not of this world.

Dallas Cowboys kicker Brandon "Butter" Aubrey is not of this world, and in truth, most Dallas fans already know this.
The All-Pro has dynamite attached to his right leg, and in the 44-22 win over the Washington Commanders, Aubrey made history when he banged through a 61-yard field goal.
The kick, which looked like he had just casually pulled out a pitching wedge for a nice 100-yard shot, sailed through (with room to spare mind you), and it marked the fifth time he had nailed a field goal of 60+ yards, making it the most in NFL history...because of course, right?
And head coach Brian Schottenheimer detailed what he thought of the kick and spoke about the little chat he and Dak Prescott had when the offense got the ball late in the second quarter before Aubrey's attempt.
“Guy's incredible, he really is,” Schottenheimer said. “He's incredible. Dak and I kind of laugh because we literally, when we got the ball, [Dak's] he's like, "50? [yard-line]" I'm like, "Yeah, 50." He's like, "God, that's crazy." I was like, "Yeah, isn't it?" We literally had a little dialogue. We're like, "Yeah, it's crazy, right. He's amazing.”

Aubrey the ultimate weapon for Cowboys
Given how crucial field position is in today's game, for most teams, getting to the opposition's 35-yard line (52-yard field goal attempt) is where most feel comfortable in attempting a field goal.
But not Dallas.
At or near the 50-yard line, and Aubrey is in range. Which as Schottenheimer and Dak stated, is crazy.
All it takes is a half-decent kick return, one or two completions, and the Cowboys are in business.
So, for all of the offensive weaponry with CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, Jake Ferguson, KaVontae Turpin, and others, Aubrey might be the most underrated.
A 61-yard history-making field goal? Completed it, mate.
