USAC Appoints Kasey Coler as Next President and CEOUSAC

Kasey Coler has been named the next President and CEO of the United States Auto Club, with his tenure officially beginning January 1, 2026. USAC announced the leadership transition Monday, confirming that Coler will succeed longtime president Kevin Miller, who will move into a new role representing the United States on the global motorsports stage.

Coler arrives with an extensive résumé across multiple racing disciplines. For the past nine years, he served as the National Hot Rod Association’s Vice President of Track Management and Operations while also acting as general manager of Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park. A Michigan native now based in central Indiana, Coler has also held key marketing positions at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, IndyCar, and even the Professional Bull Riders organization.

At USAC, he will oversee one of the most diverse sanctioning bodies in motorsports, spanning circle track, off-road, powersports, road racing, rally, and youth competition. His familiarity with the organization runs deep: Coler was named USAC’s Race Organizer of the Year in 2022.

“It is an absolute honor and privilege to join the USAC team,” Coler said. “With the scope of USAC’s history, its strong presence, and its bright future, I’m excited to be a part of it.” He becomes the 10th president in USAC’s 70-year history.

Coler praised the foundation built by Miller, who led USAC for 18 years during a period of major expansion. “I am really impressed with what has been built over the past 18 years under Kevin Miller’s vision and drive,” he said. “It’s a really good team and I look forward to focusing on continuous improvement across the various USAC platforms.”

Miller will transition to an influential new role as President of the Automobile Competition Committee of the United States (ACCUS-FIA), representing US sanctioning bodies—including NASCAR, IndyCar, IMSA, NHRA, and USAC—to the FIA and in Washington, D.C. He will also oversee US Race Management for FIA World Championship events such as Formula 1, Formula E, WEC, and WRC.

Miller said he is confident USAC is in strong hands. “Kasey is someone who understands racing, understands people, and understands USAC,” he said. “He will bring new energy, new ideas, and new opportunities.”
