Six Tigers Earn All-SEC Accolades

Award season is here

Postseason accolades are starting to roll across the country and on Tuesday the SEC announced that six Tigers were named to the All-Conference team as chosen by the league’s coaches.

Mansoor Delane and AJ Haulcy headline this year’s group, with both transfer DBs being named First-Team All-SEC. Sophomore tight end Trey’Dez Green was named to the second-team, while Harold Perkins, Damian Ramos, and Grant Chadwick all landed on the third-team.

This will be hopefully the first of many honors for Delane, who was named a finalist for the Thorpe Award. An All-American selection certainly appears to be in his future as well. Delane led the conference in passes defensed (13) and passes broken up (11), and per LSU he only allowed 13 receptions in 357 total pass coverage snaps.

Haulcy gave LSU its best play at the safety position since Grant Delpit wore the purple and gold. Haulcy actually led the conference in tackles with 88 and also grabbed three interceptions this season.

If there was any type of bright spot for LSU’s anemic offense in 2025, it came in the form of Trey’Dez Green who had 29 receptions for 353 yards and a team-leading three touchdowns.

Considering Harold Perkins came into 2025 coming off an ACL tear, he had an excellent final season in Baton Rouge. Perkins had 56 tackles, led the Tigers with four sacks and tied for the team lead with eight TFLs. He also intercepted three passes and was credited with seven quarterback hurries. Perkins is no stranger to All-SEC honors, as he was voted Second-Team All-Conference in both 2o22 and 2023.

You may not realize it, but Damian Ramos is going to leave LSU as the most productive kicker in program history. Ramos broke the career field goal and scoring records this season, with 69 makes (nice……) and 404 points heading into the Texas Bowl. Ramos led the SEC this year with 24 field goals.

Grant Chadwick quietly had one of the best punting seasons in school history. His 45.8 yards per punt was second best in the SEC this season and also the second-best in LSU history. Of his 54 punts this season, 21 went over 50 yards, and 18 of them were downed inside the 20. We all are hoping Lane Kiffin’s offense means we won’t see too much of Chadwick for the next couple of seasons, but if Kiffin does have to punt the ball away at least he’s got one of the best punters in the conference on his roster.
