AC Milan want Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker to replace Mike Maignan next summer, according to Sky Sports Switzerland journalist Sacha Tavolieri. The Liverpool star is out of contract at the Anfield club in 2027 and the Reds are open to selling him at the end of the season. Milan are in contact with Alisson’s representatives as they prepare to make a concrete move, and the seven-time Champions League winners are hoping to lure the Brazilian back to Italy after the 2026 World Cup. The 33-year-old joined Liverpool from AS Roma in 2018 and has made over 300 appearances for the Merseyside club, winning two Premier League titles and one Champions League.
Alisson has also won the FIFA Club World Cup, FA Cup and Carabao Cup with the Reds, and he could be open to an exit and a fresh challenge. Liverpool brought in Georgia international goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia in the summer, and he has already played ten times across all competitions this season. The 25-year-old has proven he has what it takes to succeed Alisson as the first-choice in the long-term, and manager Arne Slot could be ready to let the Brazilian leave.
The Dutchman could be keen on assembling his own squad having had to rely on some of the players that were key under former manager Jurgen Klopp.
Alisson is not the only player likely to leave Liverpool at the end of the season, with the future of Mohamed Salah and Ibrahima Konate at the club also in doubt.
