Tottenham: Heung-min Son’s heartfelt message to the fans

At long last, Heung-min Son received a heartfelt tribute from Tottenham fans. The South Korean star left a touching message for the Spurs faithful.

Last summer, Heung-min Son departed Tottenham to join Los Angeles FC after a decade with the Spurs. Since then, the South Korean international hadn’t had the chance to bid farewell to the supporters. That changed this week. Taking advantage of the end of the American season, Son returned to greet the fans at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday, during the Champions League clash against Slavia Prague (3-0).

"Good evening everyone, it’s Sonny. I hope you won’t forget me, guys. These ten years have been incredible, truly incredible. I just want to thank you all. I will always be a Spur, I will always be with you. This will always be my home. I will never forget you. Please stay with me and come to Los Angeles whenever you want, I’d be delighted to welcome you. I hope to see you all very often. I love you all, guys. Come on you Spurs," declared the club’s former captain.

After 454 appearances and 173 goals for Tottenham, Son capped off his remarkable journey by winning the Europa League last season.
