Six LSU football players have been named to the All-SEC team, as voted by the conference's head coaches. Two Tigers received first-team honors.
LSU’s football season certainly didn’t go the way everyone hoped, ending the year back in the same bowl game they made in 2024: the Texas Bowl. The team finished with a 7-5 record, the program's worst since 2021.
And that’s what makes the Tigers’ six appearances on the All-SEC team so frustrating. LSU’s roster was among the best in the conference, but a mixture of key roster holes, bad injury luck, and poor play calling resulted in a finish in the bottom half of the SEC.
Despite the season's frustrating result, it’s still good to see some Tigers earning some recognition.
Here are the Tigers who earned 2025 All-SEC honors.
First-Team All-SEC
Mansoor Delane – Cornerback
Delane’s performance in 2025 was not only worthy of All-SEC honors but also in the running for being considered the nation’s best defensive player. Delane was named a semifinalist for the Chuck Bednarik Award, given to the nation’s top defensive player. He has also been named a finalist for the Jim Thorpe Award, which is awarded to the nation’s best defensive back.
A.J. Haulcy – Safety
Haulcy, like Delane, was among the top players at his position in the country this season. He led all SEC safeties with 66 tackles, was tied for second with three interceptions, and tied for fourth with four pass breakups, per PFF.
Second-Team All-SEC
Trey’Dez Green – Tight End
Green emerged as arguably the Tigers’ top pass catcher as the season went on. His five touchdowns were tied for the most among SEC tight ends this season, and his ability to win on contested catches was unmatched, leading the conference with 10.
Third Team All-SEC
Harold Perkins – Linebacker
Perkins didn’t develop into the player many hoped he would be after his outstanding freshman year, but he finished his senior season on a high note. Perkins’ 18 pressures on the season tied for seventh among SEC linebackers, his three sacks tied for fourth-most, and his three interceptions stood alone as the top mark, per PFF.
Damian Ramos – Placekicker
Ramos, a fifth-year senior, had a productive year. His 24 made field goals were the most in the conference, and his 85.7 field goal percentage ranked sixth, per ESPN.
Grant Chadwick – Punter
Chadwick, much like Ramos, had an extremely productive season. His 2,707 punt yards led the conference, his longest punt — 71 yards — was tied for first, and his gross average punt length ranked fifth, per ESPN.
